Diving the Cenotes of the Yucatan

I was born in Connecticut but grew up in Central Florida, just a few miles away from one of my favorite places - The Archbold Biological Station in Lake Placid.

I have a wonderful wife, Debbie, of twenty-six years. She's the designer of this webpage. Our family currently consists of two dogs, Finnigan and Kerwin. Finn is a pure bred Yellow Lab and Kerwin is a rescue.

As with many Floridians, I developed a passion for scuba diving. Over the years, I've logged many dives on coral reefs, in deep water (> 200 feet), and in wrecks along the Florida Coast. I've also done a lot of cave diving in North Florida, the Caribbean and Mexico.

Another long-time hobby of mine is birding. Louisiana is a great place during the spring and fall for catching migrants but I’ve birded all over North America and Europe. I’m never out in the field without my binoculars (and lately my camera and telephoto lens).

Other recreational activities and interests of mine include:

  • Wildlife Photography

  • Hiking and Backpacking

  • Travel

  • Birding and Herping

  • Baseball

  • Caving

  • Winter Activities
